Yay!! Everyone is back in school!
It's still blazing hot and feels like the middle of summer but the important thing is they are not home fighting with each other. There's quite a bit of remodeling going on around here so it's good having them out of the house for that reason too.
We went with the tradition of taking picture the night before to save us from a stressful morning. They looked much worse the next morning. All sleepy and disheveled!

Sadie is in a portable this year which is kind of annoying but she amazingly got Mrs.Tharp again. She was Sadie's Kindergarten teacher and we looooooove her. We secretly hoped that when they bumped Denise up to 4th grade we'd be lucky enough to get her. And by George, we were!!
We are also loving Jack's teacher, Amanda Prickett. She's super laid back and really fun. I also think she's really smart and is going to have a great influence over our buddy this year.
We met her the week before at the "Meet the Teacher" event but Jack was still a little nervous the first day of school. He's such a tender hearted little guy!
And this guy started preschool!! He's goes twice a week to Ms. Andrea's preschool and he loves it! I didn't think he was quite ready for a 4 day a week program, so we went with Andrea's school for many reasons. Overall, she's one of the most loving women I know, so I knew George would be in good hands!
He insisted on wearing this back pack even though it looked huge on him and weighed him down!
I love this picture of him and his friend Knox ("Lox") peering into the house. A little nervous and excited too. Sadie would call that "skited."
