Back in September the old Volvo we bought in San Diego pretty much imploded. Chase couldn't drive it anywhere without huge clouds of smoke surrounding him. It was earlier than we wanted to buy a new car, but absolutely necessary. We got a new s60 Volvo and are pleased to say it drives very well. A little too well. Chase and the "batmobile" have already received their first speeding ticket.
I predicted that our old car would be parked outside the house for three months and I was totally right. Chase said he would donate or sell it within a few weeks but I knew better. So nearly 4 months later our old Volvo was towed away after we finally found the title and a place where we could donate it. It's always a little emotional saying goodbye to such a big piece of our history!
They towed it away while I was hosting playgroup with George and his four little buddies. They were TOTALLY impressed with the tow truck!! Boy heaven right there!
