Circle C Holiday Party

We look forward to this party every year and because it was cancelled last year due to weather, we were especially excited that the sun came out for our holiday celebrating.  Uncle Chad and Aunt Sarah were in town too so they were able to witness George and yet another encounter with his arch enemy.....Santa Claus.

He was pretty composed while Dad held him (as composed as George could be).  Then we became VERY bad parents (as witnessed through the faces of all the other adults nearby) when we forced our little whippersnapper to sit on Santa's lap. You better believe there was upright planking and gnashing of teeth!! I know we're probably scarring him for life, but seriously....look at this picture!!  What a treasure!!
It's almost as good as last year's.

We decided to put Santa out of his misery and just took some pics with the better trained and tamed children.

Once George was safely back in our arms, we headed outside to see Sadie perform Christmas songs with the Kiker Keynotes!!

George recovered quickly once he was able to play with the bunnies, pigs, goats and lambs at the petting zoo.

They even got to ride ponies!
This was George's first ride and we think he liked it!

Sadie looks so big on this small pony.  When did my little sassy horse lover become big enough to ride a real horse and not a pony anymore?!

Face painting.  Could this party get any better?!
We wrapped up the afternoon with breakfast tacos, hot chocolate and balloon swords.  Perfect way to start off the Christmas season.
