My kids aren't too deprived. They have a lot of fun toys. Sadie has an awesome new bike and Jack has a tricycle but what they mostly prefer to ride on are these silly infant leap frog toys they've had for years. They love riding all over the neighborhood on them.
Their favorite thing to do is go to the top of the drive way and ride down. Sadie goes so fast I have since made the wearing of a helmet a rule while riding the "buses." Jack is a little more cautious but still tries to go as fast as Sadie.
They just have so much fun together. I love watching them giggle and play, even if they are recreating on something a one year old would prefer. Whatever floats their boats I guess.
Chase was so proud of his Christmas lights this year. It seems strange to have lights mixed with fall leaves, but that's just how it's done here in Texas. They also only put lights on the trunks of their trees. We thought it was weird at first and now we do it too. We are so excited for Christmas. It doesn't hurt that I'm married to a little Clark Griswald. Chase is the ultimate in making the holidays warm and fuzzy!!
