Well I should have known that if we were going to have 60 degree weather in February, snow was bound to come sooner or later. I always say "if it's going to be cold, it better be snowing." Well here's to the first big snowstorm of the winter season. Sadie and her friend Lizzie had a blast running around and sliding down the slides. I was laughing at Jess who put plastic bags on her kids hands for mittens (it never snows here so why would you have snow boots and gloves) and cowboy boots as a moon boot substitute. Surprisingly, they were actually really warm!! The only reason we have the snow gear is because of our trips to Utah over Christmas. Sadie had her first cup of hot chocolate and loved it. Chocolate is her new thing these days. She'll wake up some mornings saying "mommy, may I have some chocolate?"
